Chris Bone

Chris is an Artistic Associate at Idle Motion, having worked on That Is All You Need To Know. Chris trained at Drama Centre London, where he was awarded the Leverhulme Scholarship. Stage credits since graduating include Rocco in Colörs (Company of Angels, Tristan Bates Theatre, dir. Dan Barnard and Rachel Briscoe) and Green and Pleasant Land (FANshen, UK Tour, dir. Dan Barnard and Rachel Briscoe). Chris is also a musician, playing the saxophone, clarinet, recorder, guitar, piano and harmonica. He shook the craft world with his arrival in the company by immediately winning Idle Motion's Crafter of the Month award. 



Joel Gatehouse

Joel is an Artistic Associate at Idle Motion and has developed and performed in Borges and I, The Seagull Effect and That Is All You Need To Know. He trained at East 15 Drama School in Physical Theatre. He is also co-founder of physical theatre ensemble Fools Play. He has a high turn over of costumes due to regularly splitting the crotch in them. 





Nicholas Pitt

Nicholas is a longstanding Artistic Associate at Idle Motion and has developed and performed in Borges and I, The Vanishing Horizon, The Seagull Effect and That Is All You Need To Know. He studied Drama at the University of Bristol graduating in 2008 and is also studying for an MFA in Theatre Directing at Birkbeck. He is really, really fond of Snickers. 





Julian Spooner

Julian is an Artistic Associate of Idle Motion, developing and performing Borges and I with them. He studied Drama at the University of Bristol and trained at the Ecole Jacques Lecoq. In 2011 he formed Rhum and Clay Theatre Company, who have continued to tour throughout the UK and are currently associate artists at The Watermill. He recently contracted Ringworm after holding a kitten on tour in China, thankfully he has fully recovered.
